O.M.R.A stands for "Offshore Model Racing Association".


There are definate advantages to becoming a member of this club if you
are serious about taking up the hobby. The most important fact is that you
will be insured if by any chance you are involved in an accident caused by
your boat (regulations will apply as laid out in the O.M.R.A rule book).

Also you will get to meet lots of friendly people with all sorts of knowledge
who will be able to help and steer you in the right direction in your choice of boat, engine and radio etc.

O.M.R.A members are welcome to race at any of the meetings held all
over the country (provided the boat complies to the rules as laid down
in the handbook). Racing is held at different venues, at present most
"Z" class venues are stand alone and are specific to that class. Where
as "AA" to "D" class are held together within a days racing.

Events are held at venues such as Bristol, Brighton, Eastbourne,

The cost of joining O.M.R.A is £22.00 or OAP and Juniors £6.00
After that the yearly renewal is £12.00 or OAP and Juniors £6.00
