The Hove lagoon and its location

The Hove Lagoon is a lovely spot and a good day out for the whole family. There is the "Big Fish Cafe" situated at the east end along with a childrens playground, paddling pool and skate park. You can also take a stroll along
the promenade.

On the main road there is the Blue Lagoon bar and B&B and a bit further
along the road is Woody's Diner a genuine 50's style American diner.

For those interested in a spot fishing there is a superb shop called the
Lagoon Bait and Tackle shop just over the road.

The Hove lagoon lays to the West of Brighton on the south coast and is
located directly off the seafront road A259 see below for directions from
the A27.

Leave the A27 Brighton ByPass onto the A293. Go straight across 2 roundabouts and turn left at
the traffic lights. Get into the right hand lane and at the next lights turn right. This will be the B2194
Station Rd / Boundary rd Portslade. Go over the level crossing and down through Portslade town
centre to the traffic lights where you should go staight across. Proceed to the end and at the lights
turn left. This will be the main Sea Front Rd A259. Carry on to the next set of lights where you should
turn right into Wharf Rd. The Lagoon is adjacent to this Road.
